The young human is :ref:`devin` who we take with us towards :ref:`granits-holdfast`. We discover :ref:`heldon-granit` is :ref:`calinn-gran-granitson`'s brother. There was a disagreement on how to deal with the Gnoll situation which split the Dwarves into two factions. Continuing on our route we enter a mushroom cavern. :ref:`devin` and :ref:`malcon` catch some spores poisoning themselves and setting off an alarm. We spot a shack in cavern while rushing through but nothing emerges from it. Passing through old mining areas we hit a collapsed tunnel which :ref:`searos` clears with ``Erupting Earth``. We spot torch light ahead and :ref:`malcon` goes to investigate but triggers a hidden door to close, blocking the tunnel. After some searching (and 20 minutes) :ref:`caoimhin` finds the release lever and we carry on. There's no sign of the source of light. Further down the tunnel we start to hear rhythmic drums and eventually chanting. :ref:`gramdoul` identifies this as a Tribe of Many Arrows war chant. The tunnel opens out with a scree slope off to the right. :ref:`maribel-miliyand` takes a look and reports there are lots of Goblins. Unsatisified with the vagueness of her report :ref:`malcon` takes a look to find: - a 4x3 group of Goblins, some with drums, all with an assortment of armour and weapons - Goblins on Spiders moving along the walls - drums coming from elsewhere but it's not clear where We move on with haste to try and beat them to :ref:`granits-holdfast`. Reaching a crossroads in the tunnel with blue/white light off to the left and right, and darkness ahead we find cultists down the right tunnel. :ref:`mike` fails to persuade them to let us behind their barricade but they say there are some broken down carts up the dark tunnel (a dead end). We build barricades on the entrance to the left and arrival tunnels. Battle sounds and torch light come from the left tunnel. Goblins attack from there, followed by Goblins on Spiders. Trolls attack from the approach tunnel. We obliterate them all. The cultists do nothing to help.
