Thorin Torbera

A Shield Dwarf Cleric of :ref:`berronar`, Thorin lived in :ref:`mothers-bastion`.

Divine Intervention
-------------------
While stuck in the city of :ref:`nesme` during an Orc raid in the War of the Silver Marches Thorin received a divine vision one night.
He was told simply "Save :ref:`gramdoul`".
The next morning a beacon of light was visible to him across the city.
Thorin followed the beacon to the edge of a destroyed building where he found a near-death :ref:`gramdoul`.
His chest aglow with the symbol of Berronar seemingly burnt into his skin.


:ref:`gramdoul`'s Recovery
--------------------------
It took 6 days for Thorin to move :ref:`gramdoul` to Mother's Bastion dragging him along on a makeshift stretcher.
By this point :ref:`gramdoul` had been unconscious for 6 days and was in a deep fever.
It took a full year for Thorin to nurse :ref:`gramdoul` back to consciousness.
