Llorkh Mines

Mines just outside :ref:`llorkh`, and the main industry of the town.

They were purchased from the original owners by :ref:`ultread-ealdwulf`'s father.

:ref:`ultread-ealdwulf` took over the mines 4-5 years ago and they began to really decline in the last few months.

Maps of the mine are stored in the :ref:`llorkh-manor-house` Library in a plan chest.
The older shafts dug down into the mountain until they discovered beasties
Newer shafts dig horizontally into the mountain.
Map updates appear to drop off 4-5 months ago.

:ref:`trigdon-drafton` drives wagons out of there.

After arriving back in :ref:`llorkh` with the :ref:`mad-science-cave` survivors :ref:`trigdon-drafton` helped us get into the mines quietly through an older entrance.
Inside we found 4 shadow-enhanced mercenaries loading rocks onto a cart.
They talked about wrapping up their time in the mines after finishing the current cart.
After killing them we found:

- Merc 1: obsidian shards in their arm
- Merc 2: Increased speed, and a purple glowing blade
- Merc 3: Crossbow bolts with shadow vines on impact, and obsidian in arm
- Merc 4: ??
