.. _what-is-the-link-between-the-worm-bois-and-waterdeep: ===================================================== What Is The Link Between The Worm Bois And Waterdeep? ===================================================== **Quest Giver**: :ref:`larell-silverhand` Summary ------- The :ref:`worm-bois` knew too much about the geography and logistical structure of :ref:`waterdeep`. :ref:`larell-silverhand` wants us to find out who is working/worked with them to give them that knowledge. The other groups from :ref:`field-of-champions` have been tasked with the same thing. Through interrogating the heads of some members and the soul of another we uncovered that :ref:`renard-wing` started the :ref:`rising-star` and summoned the :ref:`worm-bois` We stopped :ref:`renard-wing`'s machinations by killing him in :ref:`his lair ` and destroying the sigil binding the :ref:`worm-bois` to the Material Plane, saving :ref:`waterdeep`. Brute Attempted Kidnapping -------------------------- We stopped a Brute from kidnapping :ref:`ralph-blum`'s son in the Dock Ward. Following the Brute's trail it looks like it came from the Dock Ward and was attempting to return to the same place with the boy. We tracked it's trail to the Thieves' Guild Front run by :ref:`vexlar`. :ref:`worm-bois` Sample ----------------------- :ref:`malcon` managed to scoop up some constituent worms from the Brute we killed and put them in a glass vial. They appear to emit a high pitched scream when you get close enough to hear it. They have mouths similar to that of an IRL lamphrey eel. :ref:`rising-star` Meeting -------------------------- We infiltrated a meeting of the :ref:`rising-star` and were taken to a second meeting by :ref:`fargas-thorngage`. After killing :ref:`fargas-thorngage` and trapping his soul we learned that :ref:`renard-wing` set up the sect Fargas was in charge of. Updating :ref:`larell-silverhand` --------------------------------- We updated :ref:`larell-silverhand` in person about :ref:`renard-wing`'s hand in the events so far. He saw us en route and failed to divert us getting to her office. When we followed her to his office he managed to flee. The Death of :ref:`renard-wing` ------------------------------- :ref:`kellah`, along with :ref:`miss-hope`, led us, and :ref:`rickard`, to :ref:`renards-lair`. We fought and killed :ref:`renard-wing` along with 3 of the 4 :ref:`rising-star` cultists there. The 1 remaining cultist, :ref:`aryn`, was captured and brought before :ref:`larell-silverhand`.
