A competition held in the The Field Of Triumph amphitheatre of Waterdeep.
Dangerous monsters from outside the city are captured for participants to fight in the arena.
The Masked Lords Of Waterdeep run the competition to provide entertainment for their citizens, but also to remind them that there are real dangers outside the city.
Winners of the competition are known as Champions of the Field, and the city may call on them in times of need.
