She is the matriarch of the dwarven pantheon, she often uses her calm motherly presence to sooth any tensions arising within the gods. Some believe that without her guidance the Morndinsammam (Dwarven Pantheon) would not have survived it’s slow decline taking with it all of dwarven kind.

Berronar runs her church like a strict, but loving mother and her clerics are known as faenor (‘those of the home’).

Faenor serve as the guardians and protectors of dwarven clans. They archive the lore, traditions, and family histories of the dwarves. By acting as teachers and healers, they aim to further the good health and good character of the dwarven race. Serving as the moral compass of the dwarves, they can be very conservative and they do not tolerate foolhardiness and controversial ideas in young dwarves.

Rarely do faenor follow alternative paths, and the few who usually become either Fighters or Dwarven Defenders (These individuals take pride from the noble history of their race and its constant vigilance against exterior threats such as giants or goblinoids.)

The faenor pray for spells at dawn. Each year, offerings of silver are made to Berronar, usually coupled with a small white flower so as to show appreciation for Berronar’s motherly love towards all dwarves.

Berronar is mostly focused on keeping the dwarven pantheon in-line but is on good terms with the deities from the Elves, Gnomes, Halflings and other ‘good’ aligned races.

She has an unsettling hatred of orc, goblinoid and giant deities.
